Information Used for Daily Readings

Journey activity: We record the dates on which you open your daily reading to calculate your journey count.

Your daily numbers, colors, and guidance are calculated when requested rather than permanently stored as individual daily readings.

Account Access

Daily Feng Shui uses an optional email-based sign-in system.

If you choose to create an account, we send a one-time sign-in link to your email address.

This allows you to return to your saved journey without creating a traditional password.

Journey Tracking

When you are signed in, we record the dates on which you access your daily reading.

This information is used to calculate your journey progress and unlock available rewards.

We do not store the full contents of each daily reading as part of your journey history.

Journey Rewards

Signed-in visitors who reach a seven-day journey streak may unlock five downloadable phone wallpapers representing the Five Elements.

No additional personal information is collected to provide these rewards.

Wallpaper access is determined using your existing account and journey information.

We do not record which individual wallpapers you view or download.

5. Information Stored on Your Device

Daily Feng Shui uses limited browser storage to improve convenience.

This may include:

• A copy of your previously entered birth details so the form can be completed more easily on future visits.

• A simple indicator showing whether the browser has previously completed sign-in, used to provide relevant instructions.

These items remain in your browser unless you submit the information through the service.

You can remove them by clearing your browser's site data.

6. Personalized Life Reports

When you purchase a personalized Life Report, we use the information necessary to calculate, prepare, review, and deliver your report.

This may include:

• Birth date.

• Birth time.

• Birth location.

• Calculated BaZi chart.

• Email address for delivery.

Our independently developed calculation systems determine the underlying BaZi chart and associated traditional metaphysical factors.

These calculations provide the foundation for the personalized report.

AI-Assisted Report Writing

At Evelyn Feng Shui, personalized Life Reports are built upon traditional Chinese metaphysical principles, including BaZi and the Five Elements.

The underlying calculations and interpretive framework are developed independently of artificial intelligence.

Our calculation engines determine the customer's BaZi chart, elemental relationships, and relevant traditional metaphysical factors.

Artificial intelligence is used as a writing and language-assistance tool, helping transform these calculated results and established interpretations into clear, structured, and personalized written reports.

AI does not independently determine the customer's birth chart or replace the traditional calculation methods underlying our reports.

To assist with report writing, we provide OpenAI's API with the customer's name and calculated BaZi chart, including the Four Pillars and derived cycles.

Although the customer's exact birth date and time are not transmitted as separate fields, this information may be derived from the chart.

We do not send the customer's birth location, email address, payment information, or order details to OpenAI for report generation.

Each completed Life Report undergoes human review before delivery to help ensure consistency with our established interpretive framework.

OpenAI processes the information provided under its applicable API data-handling terms and retention practices.

We do not authorize OpenAI to use this information for advertising.

This disclosure applies specifically to personalized Life Report generation.

Report Delivery

Completed Life Reports are delivered electronically, typically as PDF documents sent to the email address provided during purchase.

We use the customer's contact information to fulfill the purchase and communicate about the order.

Information associated with purchased reports may be retained as reasonably necessary for fulfillment, customer support, correction requests, transaction records, and applicable legal obligations.

7. I Ching, Qi Men Dun Jia, and Other Interactive Services

Evelyn Feng Shui may provide additional traditional Chinese metaphysical services, including I Ching readings, Qi Men Dun Jia calculations, and related interactive experiences.

Depending on the service, we may process:

• Questions voluntarily submitted by customers.

For customers who opt into Daily Feng Shui newsletters, we may share limited chart information with our email marketing provider, GoHighLevel.

• Subscription date.

• Chinese zodiac animal.

• Year Pillar.

• Day Master.

• Favorable element.

• Journey count.

• Last visit date.

We do not send your exact birth date, birth time, birthplace, or birth coordinates to GoHighLevel for newsletter personalization.

Daily Reminder Emails

If you choose to turn on the daily reminder, either when you save your journey or with the switch in your Journey section, we will send you one short email each morning with your energy for the day, your auspicious hours and directions, and your journey progress.

To send it at the right time, we store:

• your email address

• your current time zone, taken from your browser when you visit our daily page, so the email arrives around 7:00 a.m. where you are

• the date you turned reminders on and the date of your most recent reminder

We skip the email on days you have already visited the daily page that morning.

Reminder emails are sent through our email provider, Resend, which processes your email address only to deliver them. We do not sell or share this information with anyone else.

You can stop the reminders at any time by clicking “Unsubscribe” at the bottom of any reminder email or by turning off the switch in your Journey section. Unsubscribing takes effect immediately. It does not affect your account, your journey, or any other emails you have signed up for, such as our newsletter.

11. Third-Party Service Providers

We use selected third-party services to operate our website and provide requested functionality.

These providers process information only as necessary for their respective services, subject to their applicable terms and privacy obligations.

Google Maps and Places helps visitors identify birth locations.

When you enter a birthplace, your browser communicates with Google's services to obtain relevant location information.

Google may process information associated with that request according to its privacy practices.

Google Time Zone

Our server uses Google's Time Zone service to determine time-zone information relevant to birth chart calculations.

The lookup involves geographic coordinates and a date and time.

We do not include the customer's name or email address in this lookup.

OpenAI

OpenAI's API assists with writing personalized Life Reports.

The information provided is limited to the customer's name and calculated BaZi chart, including the Four Pillars and derived cycles.

Additional details about this processing are provided in Section 6.

Stripe

Stripe processes payments for purchased products and services.

Stripe may collect payment-card information, billing information, and transaction details necessary to process payments, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable financial regulations.

Resend

Resend delivers account sign-in emails and other communications for which it is configured.

For Daily Feng Shui sign-in, the information provided includes the email address necessary to deliver the requested sign-in link.

GoHighLevel

GoHighLevel supports our newsletter communications and related email marketing activities.

We share information necessary to manage subscriptions and deliver personalized communications, as described in Section 10.

Framer

Our website uses Framer for website hosting, presentation, and related functionality.

Framer may process technical information associated with website visits and the delivery of website content.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics helps us understand website traffic and visitor interactions.

Daily Feng Shui Accounts

Daily Feng Shui account information remains in our live database until you delete your account or it is otherwise removed under our applicable retention practices.

Sign-In and Abuse-Prevention Records

Sign-in link records and temporary abuse-prevention counters are generally deleted automatically after approximately 24 hours.

IP addresses used for Daily Feng Shui request-rate limiting are not linked to your reading or account and are generally removed within approximately 24 hours.

Daily Feng Shui Backups

Our current backup schedule includes:

• Hourly backups retained for approximately 48 hours.

• Daily backups retained for approximately 30 days.

• Weekly backups retained for approximately six months.

Following account deletion, information may remain in older backup copies until those backups expire.

Backups are used for disaster recovery rather than ordinary account access.

Purchased Products and Services

Information associated with purchased reports, consultations, and transactions may be retained for fulfillment, customer service, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal compliance.

Payment providers and other third-party services may maintain their own records according to their respective retention policies.

We review deletion requests in accordance with applicable legal requirements and any obligations to retain transaction records.

17. Your Privacy Rights and Choices

When you delete your Daily Feng Shui account, the associated birth information, email address, first name, newsletter preference, and journey history are removed from the live Daily Feng Shui database.

Information may remain temporarily in disaster-recovery backups until those backups expire, as described in Section 16.

Deleting a Daily Feng Shui account does not necessarily delete separate purchase records or information associated with other Evelyn Feng Shui services.

You may contact us to request deletion of other eligible personal information.

19. Children's Privacy

Daily Feng Shui is not intended for children under 16 in the European Union or United Kingdom, or under 13 in the United States.

We do not knowingly collect personal information through Daily Feng Shui from children below these stated ages.

Other Evelyn Feng Shui services are intended for adults or individuals using them with appropriate parental or guardian involvement where legally permitted.

If you believe a child has provided personal information in circumstances that violate applicable law, please contact us.

We will investigate and take appropriate action, including deletion where required.
